The McMaster Students Union, in partnership with the McMaster University Alumni Association and the McMaster Student Success Centre, hosted the biggest event of the year, and McMaster’s newest tradition – the fourth annual Mac Block Party. Light Up The Night featured free carnival rides, carnival games, board games, food, live music, a poetry event in Bridges, fire performers, prize giveaways, and a fantastic display of fireworks to celebrate the end of the school year. Musical performances by the Jeremy Fox Band, Sam Holladay, Birds of Bellwoods, Scott Helman (main stage), 7Lakes, Haviah Mighty, & DJ Frequency X (side stage) entertained thousands of students, alumni, staff, faculty, and community members.
