Archival footage shot by an English filmmaker from the middle of the 1950s until (probably) 1964. The original film ends with Winston Churchill funeral, in January 1965 (you can watch it in another video mine).

There are a few evidence to date the footage: a Wimbledon court board, House of Parliament scaffold, and more. Please comment, if you can be more accurate.

It contains stock footage of London: St Paul’s Cathedral, cityscapes, Green Park, St Peter’s Church (Eaton Square), an outdoor event with floats and performers (Nothing Hill Carnival early years?), the West End, Canoe racing on the Serpentine in Hyde Park, Albert Memorial, tennis games at Wimbledon, House of Parliament under restoration and Thames river, Royal Botanic Gardens, Cutty Sark, University of Greenwich, Sir Francis Chichester Gipsy Moth IV ketch docking in central London, and more.

Please comment if you recognize more subjects.
