I’m so excited to share this project with you because I recreated the stunning mint green dress that Beth Harmon wears in The Queen’s Gambit during her match against Borgov in Paris.

This 1960s dress of dreams was so much fun to recreate, even though there were a few mishaps along the way! In this video, I explain how I made the dress and discuss my thought processes as I was creating it.

Although this isn’t a step-by-step tutorial, I do hope that you’ll be able to use it to make something similar yourself.

Hello, I’m Hayley, nice to meet you! On this channel, you’ll mainly find me behind a sewing machine making fun, vintage-inspired outfits and accessories. And, when I’m not doing that, I’m talking about fashion from the 50s and 60s – you could say I’m pretty obsessed with fashion from history.

I’m quite new to the whole YouTube thing but I hope we can make some exciting projects together and share sewing tips and tricks along the way.

Enjoy my videos.

Until next time, bye!
