Nuqueer Deterrence follows the misadventures of my original characters in a colorful, campy
setting. On their rescue mission, they accidentally board a helicopter carrying a thermonuclear
warhead, where comedy ensues. Laugh-tracks and humorous costumes then amplify the irony
of this supposedly hypermasculine situation. Inspired by the terrifying and borderline hilarious
United States nuclear weapons mishaps of the 1950s, Nuqueer Deterrence also incorporates
elements from text based video games (visual novels), Nickelodeon sitcoms, and campy action
movies.
