The King’s Gambit

One of the things I’ve rediscovered during this COVID lockdown is my love for the game of chess. I played quite a bit of chess in the university and for a short time, I was the chess convenor for my faculty. Then I stopped playing – totally neglected the game. But during the confinement, I picked it up again and I’ve been playing against the computer, with friends, trying to learn new moves, watching grandmasters play, just trying to improve my game. I’ve discovered that chess is probably the game that teaches you most about life and I’d like to share some of the amazing things I’ve learned and how they apply to us practically.
